I’ve known Kaylah since she was a teen, already writing music, with a voice that could blow the roof off.So…a few years ago, I said, “quit your job, I’ll support you. I don’t know how, but I’ll get you produced." This was never an “investment” for me. I’m an ex-dancer who just knew she had the talent. It has always been a “pay it forward” artist to artist.

We're holding an ALL AGES photoshoot at Yogurt Stop in West Hollywood, and
we're hoping you'll join us! Everyone who takes a NOH8 photo at the event
will receive a discount on a Yogurt Stop frozen yogurt, so be sure to grab
some after your shoot!
You do NOT need to schedule a specific appointment with us; just be sure
to show up between the scheduled hours of 5:30pm and 8:30pm to guarantee
your participation in the shoot. The whole process is very quick and will
last about 15 minutes, give or take a few minutes depending on the wait. :)
All you need to bring is a PLAIN white v-neck/t-shirt, and we'll take
care of temporary tattooing one of our custom-printed, hand-drawn "NO H8"
logos onto your cheek when you get here! Other than that, please arrive
"camera-ready" (make-up and hair already done) as we will not have a
make-up artist available at Yogurt Stop.
SOLO/INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS: $40
GROUP/COUPLE PHOTOS: $25 PER PERSON IN THE SHOT
We will accept cash, check, or credit

Marta Knittel is from a small town in northern California?Ukiah.
Knittel moved to Los Angeles in 1989. She broke into the entertainment
industry when actress Dinah Manoff hired her as her personal assistant on
Empty Nest. Knittel has worked for the past 18 years on such shows and
movies as All My Children and Collateral. Her last stint was as publicist
for Paramount Home Entertainment. She will always have a deep love for the
entertainment industry, but is grateful that she has been able to fulfill
the dream of owning her own highly successful frozen yogurt business, which
has been her aspiration and intention to make happen for the last 20 years.
Misti Cooper hails from a city which still has the charm & beauty that
captivates her heart, Portland, Oregon. A Beaver fan since the age of 7
she returns yearly to tailgate and spend time with her family. After
moving to the Los Angeles area in 1992, Cooper worked in the entertainment
industry in marketing for some of the biggest movies and television
programming including Tomb Raider and America's Next Top Model, which was
the inspiration behind the logo design for Yogurt Stop and the creation of
the tag line PUMP IT YOURSELF! Being a student of the Course In Miracles
for 14 years and an independent force her whole life, Misti Cooper always
knew she would be her own boss one day and as a lover of yogurt, it was
meant to be.

Can anyone believe this ANIMAL success Ke$ha is having? When I first heard of the track from my eleven year-old niece Angelia, I laughed. But then I listened and knew it was a much bigger deal that the first impression it gave me. Looks like Ke$ha has a beautiful future in the music business. Lady Who? ha ha... Ke$ha Has Sold Over 693K Cumulative Tracks In 1 Week
Pop phenom singer/songwriter Ke$ha catapults to the top of the Billboard Top 200 chart with her debut album "Animal" (RCA Records / Kemosabe Entertainment). "Animal", which was released on January 5th, is #1 album in the US, selling 151,942 copies. It is also #1 on the Digital Albums Chart, setting the record for the best ever digital album sales for a new artist and is the 3rd biggest digital album debut by a female, coming in right after Taylor Swift and Britney Spears. This also marks the biggest first week for an artist's debut album released in January in SoundScan history. Ke$ha is also the first artist since Leona Lewis' debut in 2008 to have a #1 debut album AND a #1 debut single.
This week marks Ke$ha's 4th week in the #1 spot on the SoundScan Digital Songs Chart and it was joined at the top by her second single "Blah Blah Blah" making its debut at #2. Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" is #1 on the Hot 100 and has held that position for 3 consecutive weeks thus far and "Blah Blah Blah" is a hotshot debut at #7. Ke$ha has the distinction of having the two biggest selling tracks this week and is only the 4th artist in history to achieve such a feat (in the company of The Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce and Mariah Carey) and the first new artist to do so. Ke$ha also has 3 songs in the Top 15 of the Digital Songs Chart. Ke$ha's tracks have sold over 693K in 1 week.
Ke$ha, who is the #1 artist on MySpace, is dominating the iTunes Top 10 Singles Chart. "Blah Blah Blah" currently usurped her single "TiK ToK" to claim the #1 spot (with no radio play!) while "TiK ToK" holds strong at #2 and "Your Love Is My Drug" has peaked at #8 during it's first week.
Ke$ha recently set the record for the biggest track sales week by any female artist in history (and #2 overall) when her debut single "TiK ToK" received 610,069 downloads. Additionally, Ke$ha, who co-wrote "TiK ToK" along with the rest of her Dr. Luke produced debut album Animal, also has the unique distinction of being featured on the only two tracks to ever sell over 500K singles in one week, "TiK ToK", as well as Flo Rida's 'Right Round" the current record holder for biggest track sales week.
Ke$ha performed "TiK ToK" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Lopez Tonight last week and has performances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and Wendy Williams this week.
Conan O'Brien called her "the first breakout star of 2010", Rolling Stone said that Animal was "Ridiculously catchy..." The New York Times called her a "double threat" and "…a pioneer" and People Magazine said "This high octane debut could keep any basement party pumping like Studio 54."
Since being released to radio in early October, "TiK ToK" is the No. 1 greatest airplay gainer at Top 40 and Rhythm radio and has an audience of over 100 million. The track has sold more than 2.6 million copies since its release.
Internationally, "Animal" makes its debut at #1 in Canada and sits in the iTunes Top 10 in 5 countries, not including the US. "TiK ToK" has hit #1 on iTunes 7 countries (outside the US) and Ke$ha was #1 on the Australian singles chart for 8 consecutive weeks and on the New Zealand charts for 5 consecutive weeks. "TiK ToK" is currently in the iTunes Top 10 in 19 countries including the UK, Germany, France, Australia and Italy among others. Ke$ha also holds the record for the biggest track sales week by any artist in Canadian SoundScan history. With 10 weeks in the Top 10 on the UK single chart already under her belt, Ke$ha has cemented her position as the first global breakout star of 2010.

Music Sales Reach 1.5 Billion In The USA

Music sales are up 50% on 5 years ago according to new figures released today by Nielsen SoundScan.
For the first time ever, music sales exceeded 1.5 billion units, a raise of 2.1% over 2008 and 50% over 2004.
Digital music now accounts for 40% of music purchases in the USA.
The news is not all good news for everyone. Retail of physical product was down 12.7%, offset by a 16.1% increase for digital album sales.
Rock music was the most popular genre of the 2009 with 124,164,000 units sold.
The most successful label was Universal with 30.2% of the market.
The biggest selling album was ‘Fearless’ by Taylor Swift (3,217,000 units sold).
The best selling artist was by album sales was Michael Jackson (8.286,000 units sold).
The best selling digital song was Black Eyed Peas ‘Boom Boom Pow’ (4,762,000 units sold).
The best selling digital artist was Lady Gaga (15,297,000 units sold).

Congratulations Ke$ha and Susan Boyle!
Who would have thought Susan Boyle, a frumpy reality star, would be making such world history on album sales charts? Not me, but I love it and am glad she is proving the corporate record industry a joke! People still love good music and it doesn't have to come from an 18 year-old mess.
Speaking of hot messes, Ke$ha is making waves everywhere. Her song Tik Tok is becoming a phenomenon and stealing number one spots around the world and on iTunes!
Not only is new pop star Ke$ha beating out Lady Gaga at a time when Gaga's ego and record company really need the number one spot for Bad Romance and her album's publicity, but she is also confirming dance music is the Popular music of our day.
BTW, Lady Gaga's FAME MONSTER CD is terrible. Only a couple of good tracks on it and a big disappointment for me. I will give a full review soon. All I will say for now is that Lady Gaga is no Madonna.
Congrats Miss Ke$ha! You deserve this success and I personally LOVE Tik Tok! Read her Wikipedia page...girl's been at it for a long time. I look forward to seeing what else she's got. Time for some new blood on the scene.
